Party Hardy

Do you vote?  Democrat or Republican?  When the candidates become elected representatives of the people,  do they have a Party on the people?  Or is that just a misnomer?  Suppose I sit on the fence?  Then, am I included?  Maybe I just prefer to vote for the candidate that I believe can get the job done running the country at home, and representing it's interests abroad better then any other person.  I guess I'm just a voter.  -dP
